Running for charity
In my view, a World Marathon Majors journey wouldn't quite be complete without running at least one race for charity. In London 2022, I represented the colors of the charity Livability. In Tokyo 2023, I will don the colors of Peace Wind, a Japan based charity.
London Marathon: Running for the charity Livability
In 2018, when I looked at charities involved in the London Marathon, I was quickly drawn to Livability. Their mission and vision are as simple as it is powerful. It's about enabling people with disabilities (or facing other barriers) to lead a life full of livability. I want to note with big gratitude that Livability stuck with me through several health setbacks that prevented me from running the London marathons in 2019, 2020 and 2021.
Support my Tokyo Marathon charity: Peace Winds
In Tokyo 2023, I will be supporting the charity Peace Winds Japan. I would greatly appreciate your donation to support their mission. My fundraising goal is €2,600.
